Makeup – Urban Decay Baked Bronzer in Baked – Swatch & Review
Urban Decay Baked Bronzer in Baked $25 (on sale now $12!)
Urban Decay says that this is a bronze shimmer and they are baked on terracotta tiles. First off, I really love the packaging on this item. It’s so elegant and sturdy. There’s a decent amount of product here (0.26 oz) I don’t think I’ll ever hit pan because I’ve been using it for last 2 months with no dent in sight!
When I think about bronzer, I always think of a dark orangey-brown tone but not here! This is a very natural shade that gives your face a sun-kissed glow. I would not recommend this for contouring as the color is rather light and it does have fine shimmer. I love using this as a upper cheek highlight. It does really warm up my face and I feel like it gives a nice sheen. It’s very easy to use, which is a plus in my book.
This is swatch of the product layered on dry on my hand. It just gives a very natural, peachy-bronze sheen. It’s a finely milled powder, very smooth and easy to apply. Since it’s a baked product, I believe you can use it wet but I haven’t. I like to use it dry with a real techniques contour brush from the core collection. After using this product, I feel like my face appears livelier. I would recommend as highlight but probably not as bronzer unless you are very pale.
I recommend this product as highlight for those of light-medium skin tone.
It’s also a steal right now as it’s on sale section!
